Clasifications

These categories will be represented at the General individual classification by age and gender of the participants.

In addition, there are the following team classifications:

TEAMS

This classification is made by teams of three participants of any age or gender. Each will participate in the individual category and appear in the general individual classification. At the end of the stage, the times of the three members will be added to form the team classification.

MIXED DUO

This classification is made by teams of two participants of any age, but always of different gender. They must also ride always together, cannot exceed 2 minutes between them in each control point and finish line. Participants in this classification do not appear in the general individual classification. At the end of the stage times of the two members will be added to form the mixed duo classification.

CORPORATE

The Corporate classification seeks to open the race experience to companies as a communication tool and "teambuilding". Thus, those companies interested in promoting the values ​​of sacrifice, teamwork and camaraderie, have in the race and through this embodiment, a unique opportunity to develop and enhance these qualities among their workers through sport and adventure.

The peculiarities of classification within the test development, focus on the obligation to have all three team members perform the entire route of the test together with a maximum time allowed between members at checkpoints and the finish line.

How does it work?

The Corporate teams have their own classification and specific regulations in the race. These participants will not appear in the general individual classification.

They can participate in the Corporate classification all those companies interested in having a team of workers in the test. The teams are divided into groups of three participants. All team members must prove to be employees of the company they represent.

Participants must submit a document certifying that workers have more than one year of seniority in the company. They cannot be self-employed or have different ties than those of salaried workers (such as volunteers, for example).

The main feature of the classification is that the whole team should ride as a group with a maximum of 2 minutes difference allowed between the first and third team member on the control points and the finish line of the stage.

As a team, the awards podium of the Corporate Classification will be formed and the winning team will receive a trophy that certifies them as winners.

The Corporate classification encourages and strengthens the relationship between workers of the company. To overcome the difficulties that participants in the race face, teamwork is essential. In addition, the impact of the Titan Tropic Cuba by GAES in the media, offers the possibility of enhancing the image of the company both in terms of external communication and internal communication within the company.

 AMBASSADOR

 "Become the best ambassador of your town and proudly wear the name of your city during the Titan Tropic Cuba by GAES"

Represent your city, town or village in this classification consisting of teams of two participants, who must ride together until the finish line. These participants will not appear in the general individual classification.

Submit your project in your municipality and disclose all the benefits they will receive for their participation in the Titan Tropic Cuba by GAES.

Benefits for members of an Ambassador team:

Participants:

  • Own classification on the race.
  • Award ceremony for the podium of the classification.

Municipalities:

  • Communication in Social Networks.
  • Communication in Newsletters and race website.
  • Delivery of “finisher” Award of the Titan Tropic GAES Cuba to all participating municipalities to finish the race.

TERMS:

  • Participants in an AMBASSADOR team must be registered in the municipality they represent at least for over a year (they must submit the registration sheet stating antiquity).
  • The two participants in each AMBASSADOR team must wear the same gear or jersey where the name of the town appears in a prime area and highly visible in the front and rear of the gear.
